In today’s video we are talking about how masks work to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In particular, we are discussing multi-layered cotton masks and how wearing a mask limits the range of the virus droplets. The virus droplets have to navigate through a forest of fabric fibers in the mask and, for the most part, get caught in the mask fibers vs. traveling unencumbered into the air around us.
