Cedar Valley Digestive Health Center has provided high-quality gastroenterology services to the Cedar Valley for over 30 years. To better serve the community, Cedar Valley Digestive Health Center established an Endoscopic Surgery Center in 2021. Located inside the current practice, the ESC provides less costly, more efficient services from providers who perform the majority of gastroenterology procedures in Black Hawk County.

About the Center
Cedar Valley Digestive Health Center’s Endoscopic Surgery Center was founded in 2021 after being approved by a certificate of need (CON) by the state of Iowa. The proposed center exceeded all mandatory CON criteria and was unanimously approved. Cedar Valley Digestive Health Center patients report very high satisfaction, and the quality of care provided by the center exceeds national benchmarks. The ESC performs low-risk procedures, such as colonoscopies and small bowel endoscopies, at an affordable cost.
